Hungarian historiography did indeed forget the events of the unsuccessful siege of Čazma, though the campaign was planned and prepared for months. The unsuccess of the Christian army was caused that the Christian soldiers didn’t have got suitable artillery, enough ammunition and food. Moreover Péter Erdődy, Miklós Zrínyi and Hans von Lenković lacked the sufficient numbers in infantry.
